Ogmore Result In

Huw Irranca-Davies has been elected as the new MP of Ogmore in a by-election where just 35.3% of eligible voters turned out. This, according to political analyst Gregory T Mullet, raises several important questions. "Firstly," said Mr Mullet who speaks with a lisp worthy of a Pop Idol contestant, "we must consider the timing of the by-election, coming as it did on the day of Princess Margaret's funeral. Perhaps, knowing that they were to have a reduced majority, the government chose this day to 'bury' the result."
After taking a worryingly large swig from his hipflask, Mr Mullet continued: "Secondly, we have to question what someone called Irranca-Davies is doing fighting elections in the first place; and finally – perhaps most importantly – where the hell is Ogmore?!"
