Rail network: "Incompetence and shortcomings"
23 Jul 2001
A new report into the disgrace that is the UK's rail network was published today, highlighting some "severe concerns" in the way that signalling is controlled throughout the network. The report, by Lord Douglas Ramsbottom, removed all blame from the shoulders of the train companies and, surprisingly, Railtrack. Instead, Lord Ramsbottom criticised the computer software that is responsible for keeping the trains moving.
Speaking exclusively to DeadBrain, Lord Ramsbottom told us "In my opinion, the state of our country's rail network is entirely due to the incompetence and shortcomings of one software product: Microsoft Windows 98." He continued his attack on the money-grabbing American bastards by saying "It's not Railtrack's fault that the damm thing crashes every five minutes. They should ditch Windows and go get Linux like all the hippies."
DeadBrain would like to point out that it is completely impartial, but since Windows ME is the greatest mistake our computer guy made since joining the Liberal Democrats, we vote Linux all the way.
How cool is this?
